Thursday Storm And Damage Reports

Golf-ball sized hail was reported in Grifton, in Pitt County.

Hail was also been reported in Lenoir and Wayne counties.

Wind gusts between 45 and 50 miles per hour have been reported by storm spotters.

A citizen in Craven County reported a tornado near Vanceboro, near River Road and Maple Cypress Road.

Emergency officials reported a funnel cloud four miles North of Vanceboro on Wilmar Road.

Clifton Lewis of Vanceboro recorded a tornado with his cell phone. He tells WITN News this storm was off of Nelson Road in Vanceboro, not far from Bear Hole Road.

Also reported, a tornado in Ayden in Pitt County. See the photo below sent in by Sueann in Ayden, along with other photos.

A tornado was also reported in Lenoir County.

    that was scary to see all those funnels and some hail hit my heasd hard

    That cloud was over my house in Ayden and there was no wind, no rain, nothing
