An 18 year old girl traveled across the world to meet with doctors in Greenville. Now, after several months and several surgeries, this burn victim is headed home with a whole new look.
Natalia Bolea was five months old when she got caught in a house fire. A non-profit organization arranged the trip from Muldova which is a country between Romania and Ukraine to Eastern Carolina and some local doctors did the rest for free.
Monday, Bolea had her final fitting for her nose at Hanger Prosthetics in Greenville.
Bolea can't speak any English so a translator, Reghina Laburina had to accompany her as well. The two head home on Sunday, thrilled about how the trip turned out.
Bolea tells WITN she feels prettier than ever and is excited to do new things like type on a computer for the first time.
