This year marked the third year for Piratefest in Greenville and the 26th straight year of the Pigskin Pig-out being held.
Contestants for the 26th annual Pigskin Pig-out started cooking Friday night.
Dowdy Ficklen was packed with pigs just after midnight and while the goal was to cook a prize winning hog, it wasn't all work.
The pigs were collected a little after nine Saturday morning and served for lunch.
People enjoyed the food as they raised money for the Pirate Club and had a chance to rub shoulders with other fans of the purple and gold.
The pirate football team was on hand to meet with the fans, take pictures and sign autographs.
