Are you waiting to purchase a car or planning to capitalize on a car loan tax credit? With this extremely difficult economy, you would think most people would wait, but that may not be the case in Eastern Carolina.

While many car dealers are seeing business others still report a decline in sales.

Associates say there's some light at the end of the tunnel though. They say, the spring time is when car buyers start looking for new vehicles and actually purchase them.

Forbes Magazines claims, auto sales in March met or beat Wall Street projections, even if they were nowhere near sales volumes last year

Potential car buyers we spoke to say if they want a new car, they will buy one, no matter what the economic situation is like today.

just got a "new" car over the weekend, who needs a brand NEW car that'll depreciate in value the day you drive off the lot. Used cars are where the deals are, with car manufactures begging for money which ones will be around when the dust settles and who's car will worth nothing once they fall
