Spreading The Word Of Unity

On Easter Monday residents in one city used the spirit of the holiday to unify their community, which they say has a reputation for drugs and gun violence.

With one foot in front of the other kids from the Moyewood Recreation and Cultural Center marched through their neighborhood in Greenville to spread the importance of unity.

The kids and parents sang, danced and handed out candy to shut-in residents while Greenville police escorted them in the second year of the parade.

This is just tilting at windmills with slogans and catchwords that really don't mean anything. Clue for you, unity is not as important as ceasing to kill people, rob people, assault people and break in to other people's homes. Other more important factors are: stop having children you cannot afford, stop having children out of wedlock, force fathers to be fathers, financially and emotionally, work for a living, clean up the neighborhood, keep your children off the street and off the corners. Stop using drugs and stop your children from using them. Wow, there is so much stuff that I am tired. Hold your children accountable for their behavior and academic performance at school. Stop blaming teachers, administrators, lack of funds and other communities for your childrens shortcomings at school and in the community. A few more of these and you can start thinking of unity.

Where are the pictures of the children (people) marching in the neighborhood? Is that not important enough to share?
