Dispute Leads To Stabbing In Greenville

A stabbing early Wednesday morning has left one Greenville man in the hospital and another in jail.

Police say Sean Henderson is in stable condition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital after being stabbed in the chest.

It happened in the parking lot of an apartment building on Adams Boulevard around 3:00 a.m.

Police say Tyrone Hardy is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.

The stabbing apparently preceeded a domestic dispute between Hardy and his girlfriend. Police say during the dispute, the victim got upset with Hardy and was stabbed.

Hardy is in the Pitt County Detention Center on $150,000 bond.
