Many Eastern Carolina Moms say being a mom is tough!
From the big issues like your child’s health and well-being, to deciding which sippy cup to use, those same moms are finding the best way to cope with all these needs is the Internet.
Jessica Tackett is the mother of a 21 month old boy and administrator for the website greenvillemommies.com.
She says “I found it as a godsend to me as a stay at home mom, going a little bonkers in her house.”
Moms Sharon Belvin and Valerie Jones also say the group changed their daily lives.
Another popular mommy group in eastern Carolina is “Crayola Mom’s” which is based out of Rocky Mount.
Creator of the group and Rocky Mount Mom Vicky Harrison says all the moms love being able to talk online and relate to each other, they can do that on message boards.
Harrison says “the message board is big for that, we go on, whether its parenting things, or talking about potty training, or transitioning to toddler bed, or we're just saying aw man I'm having such a bad day today…or I can't get organized.”
These mommy group members say the best thing about the group is forming close friendships.
Rocky Mount mom Patty Hudlow says “its so easy and comfortable they were so warm and welcoming, your all out for the same reasons you know your looking to find someone to share that quality time with your children, and its all the same goals.”
