Police Seize Three Kilos Of Cocaine

Police have made a big dent in the local drug trade, seizing more than three kilos of cocaine this week.

Greenville police say Ediel Lopez-Dominguez of Arrowhead Drive was arrested Monday at the Carolina East Mall property on Memorial Drive.

He's charged with 12 counts of trafficking in cocaine and is in jail on a $4,000,000 bond.

The three kilo has an estimated street value of $300,000.

Sam, I've noticed on many articles you sure do have stong opinions against government officials. But, I know for sure our police officers, who risk their lives to protect our community, do not re-sell drugs taken off the streets. Like "NCLEO" said, they are taking crack rocks off the streets of our community. And, that's 6000 less crack rocks that my husband and other police officers have to be concerned with finding. Keep on trucking GVPD!!

They probably try to resell them for the politicians and all the City of Greenville employees somehow ends up getting more money coming into their bank accounts. They are a bunch of crooks. There are plenty more guys that have more cocaine around Greenville than this guy. He is like chump change. At least he did not try to rob anybody or jump a college student.

Hmmm I wonder what GPD does with all the drugs that they confiscate?

Great bust GPD! Keep this in mind nay-sayers: These three kilos are equal to something like 6,000 $50 crack rocks that won't be sold on the streets in Greenville. Not a huge dent in the worldwide drug trafficking trade I agree, but on the local level it does put a dent in the drug trade. Be happy the Police are out getting these guys and hope that the courts don't let him walk.

Start being ecxited when they take down the real players in the drug war. This guy is nothing but feeder fish. He'll be right back or there'll be 10 just like him. I'll start jumping up and down when you here about judges, doctors, senators, and other big fish that get netted. Dont get me wrong though, at least this guy wont be selling for a day or two, so that's that much that wont make it to the street. Buzz-
