Greenville Police Search For Missing Man

Greenville police are searching for a missing man.

William Andrew Peacock III has been missing since last week.

He has serious health problems.

Greenville Police Detectives from the Special Victims Unit are asking the public for information regarding the whereabouts of William Andrew Peacock, III of Greenville. Peacock has been missing from his home since Tuesday, February 3.

Peacock is a 68 year old white male. Peacock is 5’8” tall and weighs about 170 lbs. He is bald and wears glasses.

Peacock was last known operating a red 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck, NC plate number PZR-8686. It is reported that he has severe heart and respiratory problems, but police do not believe he suffers from any dementia or other mental problems.

Peacock did not meet the requirements for listing under SILVERALERT guidelines. Police do not believe Peacock has any family connections in the Greenville or Pitt County areas.

Any person having information about William Peacock is asked to contact Sgt. Robert Burns or Detective Glen Webb at the Greenville Police Department at 252-329-4153.

    Folks keep an eye out for this man, he may not meet SILVERALERT requirements but he is a fellow human being and there are people out there that care for him.
