Man Dies In New Years Morning Wreck

A Pitt County man is dead after a car accident New Years morning.

It happened around 6:50 a.m. on Highway 903 south of Robersonville near Crisp Road.

Troopers believe Brokema Larry was drunk at the time of the crash and was not wearing a seat belt.

Authorities tell WITN News that the 31-year-old Larry's car crossed the center line and ran off the road, then came across the other side of the highway and ran into a ditch.

I couldn't post a comment up here when this happened. Speaking w/Adrian today, seeing the pain she's still in over it just made me think about my homie even more. We really never know how someone affects our lives until they aren't around anymore. I c all the comments and I know Brock has touched everyone in a different way. I am sorry for his family's loss b/c despite of the things he did, he was very family-oriented. I know his kids miss him dearly. I still can't believe hs'e not here anymore to talk junk to me. Man, I miss this dude. It's hard, it's really hard coping w/things like this. It's just one of life's lessons. You never know when and where ur gonna be called home. Going on 2 years and seems like yesterday. I am glad I moved back to N.C. in time enough to see Brock. I was only back a few months before this happened. OMG, it's just still so unreal.

First of all I just want to say how sorry I am to hear about the lost of a great man as Brock. Even if you did not know him very well you have to remember his smile that he was willing to share with everyone he met because I will never forget. From a friend forever..R.I.P Brock
