Three employees of a convenience store are among 13 people charged in Farmville after complaints of illegal drug activity at the business.
Farmville police say their investigation began approximately nine months ago after getting numerous complains about the First Break Store. Police say those complaints ranged from the store being an eyesore to people afraid to go into the store because of the activity.
Police said they made a number of undercover purchases of marijuana, crack cocaine and ecstasy pills.
In a news release, police say the store on Main Street was a central hub for criminal activity. On Tuesday they arrested 10 people and seized close to 900 ecstasy pills with a street value of $13,000.
