POLICE: Farmville Convenience Store "Hub For Criminal Activity"

Three employees of a convenience store are among 13 people charged in Farmville after complaints of illegal drug activity at the business.

Farmville police say their investigation began approximately nine months ago after getting numerous complains about the First Break Store. Police say those complaints ranged from the store being an eyesore to people afraid to go into the store because of the activity.

Police said they made a number of undercover purchases of marijuana, crack cocaine and ecstasy pills.

In a news release, police say the store on Main Street was a central hub for criminal activity. On Tuesday they arrested 10 people and seized close to 900 ecstasy pills with a street value of $13,000.

    you people are soooo glad that they caught them and want them to shut the store down. get real. all that means is that they are going to make bail and set up shop at a house near you. the sales are still going to take place but now you just wont know where. isnt safer to where its going on at so you can avoid it? do you hicks not think? and as for the loud music, as long as they are not park in front of your house with it, shut up and go to sleep or better yet get a life. oh yeah and dont be so quick to congratulate your local police, because i know one personally who needs to take a bath if you catch my drift...so dirty

    Wow who had that many e pills in such a small town. The town has always been segregated, the cops are harrasing, and the crime will never stop so deal with it.. and there is a Best Value drug store on yall side of town if you that scared to ride through the HOOD use that one mam!!!

    I think that place has been busted several times but nothing this big. I am sure the fabulous jailbird will have all the names and one of their multiple mug shots. Now stop messing with drug problems and work on loud music. Anyway, good job FPD and thank for doing all you do. Mac is da man!!!!

    that place was drug haven when i lived in Farmville. that was 8 years ago!! it is a shame it took this long to bust it.
