Ayden Collard Festival And Parade This Weekend

Ayden's favorite leafy green took center stage today. The Annual Collard Festival and Parade was celebrated in downtown Ayden Saturday.

Green and yellow streamers brightened the streets as huge crowds stood at the sidelines to get a glimpse of the floats as they went past.

Many people listened to the bands playing music.

There were also rides, food, and fun.

The festival continues on Sunday.

We attended the parade today, and it was great! It lasted 45 minutes. We especially enjoyed all the Shriner Sudan vehicles. And if you failed to tap your toes to the high school bands, well, you are totally without rhythym. A great job to the Collard Festival Parade Committee.
