Suspect Shoots At Door, Robs Greenville Sonic

Greenville Police are looking for a suspect that robbed a Sonic early Sunday morning and shot through a glass door shattering it.

It happened at the Sonic on 3751 South Memorial Drive. Police say the manager had just closed the business for the night when the suspect approached one of the doors and fired a shot through it. The glass door shattered and the suspect entered.

The suspect demanded money from the clerk and fled the business with an undisclosed amount of currency. There were three employees in the business at the time of the robbery.

The suspect was wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask and was armed with a .22 caliber rifle. Police say he was approximately 140 lbs. and 5'9.
