Greenville All-Star Baseball Team Loses 1st Game At World Series

(Monticello, Arkansas) -- The Greenville, NC All-Star baseball team lost its first game at the Babe Ruth 13-5 year old World Series 13-12 to Bryant, Arkansas.

The all-stars from Bryant, Arkansas scored eight runs in the first inning.

Dalton Britt hit two home runs for the Greenville All-Stars.

Greenville finishes pool play with a 3-1 record and will be the #3 seed out of the American Division when the single elimination portion of the tournament gets underway.

Greenville will take on the #2 seed out of the National Division Wednesday at 9pm.

    Greenville actually sliped to the third seed with the loss to Bryant. Bryant and Greenville both 3-1. Bryant wins head to head. Greenville will play Waite Parke Minn at 9:30 est tonight. Good luck guys.
