Greenville Drug Task Force Arrests Felon For Gun Charges

The Greenville Drug Task Force has arrested a man for having four weapons as a felon.

Police arrested Anthony Wright of Clinton on a 100-thousand dollar bond.

Authorities say Wright had a Beretta, Revolver, Assault rifle and an automatic handgun.

Police say the guns were going to be traded for 4.5 oz of cocaine.

    what about the person that had the cocaine? was it a undercover officer?

    I thought there was a law about this. Maybe we need to make another gun law and felons wouldn't have guns.

    Call in the FEDS! If charged under state statutes he won't serve over a year, if that! The FEDS would put him away for a LONG time.
