Teachers Head Back To Class

Teachers in one Eastern Carolina county were officially back in the classrooms Tuesday preparing for the return of their students.

Pitt County teachers will use the next week to get everything ready.

Wahl-Coates elementary principal Will Sanderson says that his teachers are ready to tackle the challenges of a new semester.

Those teachers were hard at work, trying to get all of the staff organized and their curriculums in order. Sanderson says despite teachers having to do more with less this year due to budget cutbacks--his staff is ready to focus on educating the kids.

In Pitt County, and many other locations, school resumes August 25th.
