A company that has grown from four employees to 250 in the last 15 years gets a visit from a congressman Thursday.
Congressman Walter B. Jones is coming to Greenville to visit Metrics, Inc. Thursday afternoon. Phil Hodges and John Bray, PhD., started Metrics in 1994 with four employees. They now have 250 on their payroll at their state of the art facility on the northeast side of Greenville, according to a press release from the Pitt County Development Commission.
"Another impressive note is that during the present economy, they have had zero layoffs," said Wanda Yuhas, Executive Director of the Pitt County Development Commission.
Congressman Jones is scheduled to visit Metrics at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
