Authorities on the Outer Banks say they have located a woman who had been missing and she is fine.
Southern Shores town manager Peter Rascoe says 43-year-old Ellbieta "Ella" Giryn was located around 9:45 p.m. in Duck. Prior to that she was last seen around 10:00 a.m.
A Silver Alert was issued because authorities say she suffers from cognitive impairment and has Type 2 diabetes.
