Deputies said the main drug problem in Hyde County is pills and crack.

Chief Deputy Guire Cahoon told WITN deputies worked a successful round-up of alleged drug criminals over the weekend.

Cahoon said between Friday to Sunday, deputies arrested 12 people, all with charges of drug related crimes.

"The majority of the drug problem we see in Hyde County is with pills and crack," said Cahoon.
