15 to 55 inches is how much higher the Sea Level along our coast is expected to rise by the year 2100.
The findings come from the State Coastal Resources Commission Science Panel on Coastal Hazards.
The report recommends the adoption of one meter or 39 inches of Sea Level rise as a rate for future policy development and planning purposes.
It also suggests installing additional tide gauges in the coast and the continued maintenance and upgrading of the existing ones.
