A multi-agency drug operation has taken four suspected drug dealers off the streets in Tyrrell County.
Lawmen say they seized a half-kilo of cocaine, $5,000 in cash and two vehicles.
Charged with multiple counts of trafficking cocaine are Rolando Padron of Washington, Jose Aree-Marquez of Columbus, Francisco Vasquez of Columbia and Patricia Bibbs of Washington.
All four suspects are in the Washington County Detention Center on $2-million bonds.
The joint operation involved deputies from Tyrrell, Beaufort and Washington counties, along with agents from the F.B.I. and North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement.
