It's been just over two months since a fatal house fire killed three children here in the east. But a new day is dawning for the Pittman family.
Shortly after the fire, Onslow County pulled together to build the family a brand new home.
Tuesday we stopped by for a look at the progress. The house is coming together quickly- likely within the 90 day timeframe the volunteers originally set.
Everyone putting in the effort to build the home chose to remain anonymous.
No word yet on a move in date for the Pittman family.
