Officials along the North Carolina coast say the latest winter storm has created more erosion reports along the state's beaches.
North Topsail Beach Town Clerk Carin Faulkner told The Daily News of Jacksonville (http://bit.ly/1fNdsS3 ) that storm after storm this winter hasn't given the beaches a chance to recover.
She says ocean water ended up washing debris and sand on to roads and ended up under beach houses during this week's storm.
Surf City Town Manager Larry Bergman says some walkways to the beach in his town were damaged by the surf.
Officials say the newly renourished beach near New River Inlet seemed to fare well in the storm and winds.
