The "Secret Santa" spirit continues to spread across the east.
Customers at the Kmart in Jacksonville could be in for a big surprise when they pick up their layaway.
Associates there tell us they've had at least 50 orders paid for by people wishing to stay anonymous.
Kmart associate Linda Sanders says they have had one Santa in particular who made a big dent in layaways. Sanders says, "We had a lady come in about a week ago and she handed us $3,000 and told us to pay on as many layaways as we could-- so me and another associate went through and tried to find the ones we know-- 'cause we've been here a long time-- we know our customers-- we tried to pick some that were in need of that."
Sanders says they have had "Secret Santas" even come in Friday-- two different times-- contributing towards other people's Christmas bills.
