A boil water advisory has been lifted for residents in Swansboro. Residents on a section of Walnut Street and Church Street lost pressure Monday when crews repaired the water main.
The 24 hour advisory was a precaution.
Starting at 9 a.m. Monday morning, people on Walnut Street from Broad Street to Main Street may be affected, as well as on Church Street from Walnut Street to Water Street.
The repairs are supposed to be completed by 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Officials advise that residents in those areas are asked to boil their water until they give the okay. It could take 24 hours before testing is completed.
