Jacksonville Police report they are investigating a second armed robbery of the Tobacco Stop on Western Boulevard.
Police were called to the store on both Thursday and Friday.
On Friday, just before 10 p.m., police say two men went into the store and held the clerk at gunpoint, leaving the store with cash.
On Thursday, one man held up the store at gunpoint, leaving with cash.
In Friday's robbery:
Suspect #1 is described as a white male, approximately 5’5”tall, weighing around 170 pounds. He was wearing khaki colored shorts and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male, approximately 6”tall and 195 pounds in weight. He was wearing a dark colored jacket and pants and had a white do-rag on his head. The suspects left the area in a silver or white colored pick up truck, possibly a Dodge Ram.
In Thursday's robbery:
Suspect is described as a black male of undetermined age wearing black and white sneakers, dark blue jeans, and a large black zip-up coat with a hood. That suspect is shown in Photo #1.
No one was hurt in either robbery. Police say there's nothing to suggest the robberies are related except for the location.
