Charges are pending against the driver of a car that crashed, sending one of his passengers to the hospital with serious head injuries.
Sixty-six-year-old William Taylor of Richlands could be charged for the high speed, Sunday afternoon crash on Luther Banks Road, according to the Jacksonville Daily News.
The paper says Taylor's passenger, Darryl Jodway had to be airlifted to New Hanover Memorial Hospital after the crash.
The Daily News says Jodway had an open beer in the car but the driver passed a breathalyzer test.
