Onslow Investigators: Autopsy Shows Infant Suffered Previous Abuse

An autopsy shows a two-month-old who Onslow County Deputies say was killed by his Marine dad, had been to the hospital on two previous occasions for suspected abuse.

Onslow County investigators say Deklin King died at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune in February from blunt force injuries to his head.

His father, Marine Sgt. Jordan King remains in jail, charged with his infant son's murder.

The autopsy, released Tuesday, says the baby had multiple head hemorrhages and healing rib fractures. It says two weeks before his death, the baby's father says he tripped over the family dog while holding his son.
