Onslow County Schools Child Nutrition Department said it is hiring Child Nutrition Substitutes for the duration of the 2014-2015 school year.
Substitutes will work an average of about 20 hours between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. on school days.
Job duties include measuring and mixing ingredients, cooking meals and working behind the cash register.
Although the position is not full time, opportunities for advancement will be available as openings arise.
