Starting next school year the bell will ring a bit earlier for a handful of schools in Onslow County.
Thirteen Onslow County schools will be changing start times for students beginning in the fall. Suzie Ulbrich with Onslow County Schools says synchronizing
high school start times will offer students more academic opportunities. Additionally, the changes will make bus schedules run more efficiently and save $450,000 by eliminating the need for five extra school buses, according to Ulbrich.
