A jury decided one man should go to jail for child abuse charges this week.
29-year-old Gregory Mosher will spend up to six and a half years in jail for two felony counts stemming from child abuse charges. The Jacksonville Daily News reports the former Richlands man was accused of scalding a toddler by leaving her and her 3-year-old brother in a bath tub while attending to his dog. Mosher's says he was gone for a minute or less, according to the paper, and somehow the boy must have turned the faucet.
The girl suffered second and third degree burns to 44 percent of her body.
