New Onslow Justice Complex Not Ready Just Yet

It's still a waiting game for one sheriff's office here in the east when it comes to moving into the new jail.

Onslow County Sheriff Ed Brown says the Onslow County Justice Complex is still not move-in ready.

While the building is up there's still some work to do that includes a chunk of the administrative portion of the building.

There are currently 39 doors that are not locking, the evidence room is still housing construction materials, and the generator that powers the administration side of the building is not ready to go.

Another problem is one exhaust pipe that runs outside the building is blowing fumes directly to the neighboring superior court.

No official open date for the justice complex is set in stone.

Excellent story. Like to know how my tax money is being spent. Exhaust fumes in the courthouse will help expedite case processing. Can't wait to try the food.

And just how this a news story? Is the world so wonderful that this is all you can come up with? What a joke.
