Investigators say a Camp Lejeune Marine is facing felony sex crimes charges against a child.
Sergeant Sean Moss of Richlands is facing felony charges including first degree rape and first degree sex offense of a child.
Records show the crimes were committed in December 2009 and February 2011. Authorities say the victim was four years old.
Information on the crime was reported to the Sheriff's Office by social services in November.
Moss is due back in court on January 5. He is a motor transport mechanic at the Jacksonville base.
