A Jacksonville man is behind bars after police say he broke into eight businesses on two different days.
Kinston police say Earnest Dean was nabbed Monday by deputies in Onslow County.
Dean is accused of breaking into five businesses on August 5th, and another three on August 26th.
The 35-year-old man now in jail on a $255,000 bond. Dean is charged with 19 different charges, including eight counts of felony B&E, five counts of safe-cracking and five counts of larceny after B&E.
On August 5th Dean is accused of breaking into Highway 55 Burgers and the Green Basil Restaurant, both on North Herritage Street, the San Juan Restaurant and House of Wang Restaurant, both on West Vernon Avenue and One Main Financial on Plaza Boulevard. Police say on August 26th the man broke into Le's Nail & Spa, Highway 55 Burgers, and Edward Jones Financial Advisors, all on Highway 70 West.
