A Lenoir County man was booked in Pitt County for several different drug charges he is facing in Onslow County.
Thirty-two year old Thomas Paradis of Kinston is facing many charges in Onslow County including trafficking opium or heroin, drug possession, obtaining controlled substances through the use of legal prescriptions obtained by knowing and willful misrepresentation, and intentional withholding of information.
Paradis is being held in Greenville under a bond of $1,545,800. He is scheduled to appear in Onslow County Court Monday morning.
He has also been indicted in Carteret County on a charge of attempt to obtain a controlled substance through forgery or fraud.
