Leader Of Boy Scouts Of America Visits Eastern Carolina Tuesday

The leader of the Boy Scouts of America is in Eastern Carolina today.

Wayne Brock, the Chief Scout Executive, is in Greenville this morning for a breakfast. He is then scheduled to travel to Jacksonville and Nashville.

Brock began his scouting career in 1972 in New Bern before moving to other positions in Tennessee and Georgia. He has held multiple leadership positions.

According to his online bio, Brock works with the BSA's national officers and executive board to oversea 1,100 national employees, 5,800 local council employees and almost 1.2 million adult volunteers.
