A Jacksonville mother went before a judge today after being charged in the death of her 10 month old son.
Barbara Unser has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, misdemeanor child abuse, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
Police say Wednesday morning they were called to a home on Westminister Drive for a baby not breathing and unresponsive.
Warrants identify the victim as Alexander Froland. Documents claim Unser left the baby unsupervised in the bathtub.
In a 911 call, a sobbing woman who identified herself as the mother of the 10 month old told dispatchers "my baby was in the bathtub and he was just taking a bath. And I have two other toddlers here, and he's only 10 months old and I think one of the toddlers went ahead and plugged the bathtub."
Unser was released on a $60,000 secured bond.
A memorial service for the baby is set for this afternoon in Jacksonville.
Authorities say they now have charged a mother in the death of her child this past Wednesday.

Firefighters started life saving measures and Onslow County Emergency Services took the child to Onslow Memorial Hospital, where it was pronounced dead.
Police investigated the death and several days later charged the mother.
Unser is in the Onslow County Jail on a $60,000 secured bond.
