Jacksonville Men Accused Of Firing A Shotgun Into An Occupied Apartment

2 men are behind bars after deputies in Onslow County say they fired a shotgun into an apartment.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says that they responded to 2 Aragona Boulevard Apartment 206 around 5:00 on December 20th for a report of shots fired into an home.

Investigators say that the residents were home at the time, but no one was hurt. A resident gave chase to the shooter but they were able to escape.

Deputies say they found the shotgun that was used in the area of the apartments, along with other items of evidence.

An investigation eventually led to the arrests of 18-year-olds Christopher McComas and Alex Phan, both of Jackonsville, on Monday.

Both men have been charged with discharge a firearm into an occupied dwelling, possession of a stoeln firearm, and felony conspiracy.

McComas is being held on a $75,000 secured bond. Phan is being held on a $125,000 secured bond.
