A day long job fair at Camp Lejeune Thursday called "Hiring Heroes," aimed to find jobs for military spouses.
While the country's unemployment rate is above eight percent, it is three times that for military spouses.
More than 350 spouses checked out the job fair coordinated by The United States Chamber of Commerce.
More than 20 employers were on hand.
The chamber also offers seminars to teach networking and resume writing.
