Firefighters Wear Pink To Battle Breast Cancer
Firefighters in Jacksonville are doing their part in the fight against breast cancer.
Today every firefighter in the city, along with the police department command staff, will be wearing pink T-shirts. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Deputy Chief of Fire Operations Spencer Lee says it was developed by one firefighter at station 4 last year and grew to include the entire department this year.
