Deputies say an Onslow County man sexually abused a teenager for the past six years.
Calvin Tenhet of Holly Ridge was arrested Monday on 27 charges, ranging from felony child abuse involving a sexual act to second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Deputies say they began investigating Tenhet a month ago when the 15-year-old victim told his mother about the sex offenses.
A forensic specialist with the Sheriff's Office discovered approximately 1200 photos of pornography and illicit sex scenes on the man's computer.
The 40-year-old Tenhet is jailed on a $1.435 million bond.
