Cooper, Petraeus Warn Camp Lejeune Marines About Scams

The marines that help protect our country got some information to help protect their bank accounts Tuesday.

Attorney General Roy Cooper and Holly Petraeus, Assistant Director for the Office of Servicemember Affairs, hosted an event at Camp Lejeune about consumer protection issues for members of the military.

Some of the topics included foreclosures, landlord tenant issues, unfair loans, and debt collectors.

Holly Petreaus has done wonders at her job with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). She is an advocate for each and every military member and my hope is, you have learned from her. She is not a politician, she is genuine.
