Animal Control officers are setting up dog traps, after a man says he was attacked by a pack of wild dogs.
Several people in the area of Sneads Ferry have witnessed a group of aggressive dogs in their neighborhood.
Onslow County Animal Control officers say a man was bitten while jogging, near the entrance to Mimosa Bay.
Resident Windy Sipe said, "I'm actually afraid to go through there because if the dogs are there, I have nobody to help me."
Other neighbors say they're scared to let their kids wait outside for the school bus.
Animal Control is actively trying to catch the dogs.
