The Defense Department says a Marine based at Camp Lejeune has been killed in Afghanistan.
22-year-old Cpl. Aaron Faust died April 15 during combat operations in Afghanistan. The Louisville, Kentucky Marine was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines at Lejeune.
The death is under investigation. No other details were immediately released.
