Camp LeJeune Marine Dies In Afghanistan

A Camp Lejeune Marine has died while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense says 25-year-old Phillip McGeath of Glendale, Arizona died January 18th.

McGeath was assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune.

    i sense some sarcasem. yut.yut surely the president -wouldn't- try to make it appear that way to the american people, right before the holiday to make it seem as if he was doing some good for the people and the nation right before election year.

    I thought that combat operations were over in Afghanistan. A few weeks ago there was a story about a soldier from NC that was the "Last soldier to be killed" in combat operations in Afghanistan,.....
