NEW INFO: Camp Lejeune Marine Dies In Motorcycle Accident

The Marine Corps has now identified the Camp Lejeune Marine killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday.

Officials say 24-year-old Lance Cpl. Sean McMillin of Reno, Nevada was killed Friday in Maryville, Tennessee.

They say he joined the Marine Corps in 2009.

PREVIOUS STORY:
A Camp Lejeune Marine has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident Friday while riding in Maryville, Tennessee.

The Marine was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead by civilian medical personnel.

The name of the Marine, who was part of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit Marine, is being withheld pending notification of family.

The accident is currently under investigation.
