The Onslow Water & Sewer Authority says a boil water advisory for some customers has now been lifted.
The advisory was issued Tuesday following a waterline break on Myrtle Drive.
Customers from 3872 Island Drive up to Broadway Street, including all side roads, were affected.
Lab tests show it is no longer necessary to boil water used for human consumption. The system has resumed normal operations.
