A doctor's office in the east that's been the target of protesters in the past is finding itself in familiar territory.
A 40 day around the clock anti-abortion campaign kicked off Tuesday night in Jacksonville across the street from the Crist Clinic for Women. Organizers say it's a campaign of love-- others say it's another protest.
Organizer Elizabeth Delong says they plan 40 days of prayer and fasting. She says the idea is to have someone on the curb directly across the street from the Crist Clinic for Women 24/7 for the next 40 days. "We're praying for his business-- and we're praying for the portion of this business that's abortion,to close."
Protesters- silent or prayerful- don't surprise Doctor Takey Crist. Dr. Crist says, "We've been labeled by this group as an abortion clinic. I would say the majority of the patients that come here make appointments for pap smears."
Police say their only concern is public safety.
Delong says, "We're here to bring healing to our city. We're there to pray-- we're there to love the clients."
Dr. Takey Crist says, "That's freedom of speech. But they're not gonna turn anybody around."
