Marine Charged With Assaulting Four Women

A Marine stationed at New River in Jacksonville is charged with assaulting four females.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 2:30 AM Saturday. Deputies responded to a night club on Old Blue Creek Road to investigate the assault.

One female told deputies she and her friends were leaving the club and letting their car warm up. She stated that three guys asked them for a ride and that she and her friends said yes but one of the females was worried about getting in trouble if they were under age, so they asked their age.

It was at that point the woman says 28 year old-Justin Grantham began cursing at them and beating on the vehicle. One of the women got out of the car and that's when she says Grantham punched her and assaulted the others as they got out of the car.

Grantham says he and his friends were walking by, but the girls jumped him and that his two friends ran away.

The news has the story all twisted. The Marine approached them and ask for a ride. When they said no he started hitting the car. His friends ditched him because he was drunk. One of the girls got out to say something and he attached her. The other girls got out to fight him off and he attached them. Some guys from the club broke got him off them. My friend has a broken lip and black eye because he can't handle his alcohol. He desires max penalty.

Perhaps the young man is telling the truth, I have seen worse happen inside and outside of those clubs. Concering both female and male civialians and marines. I do believe our justice systems states that everyone is innocent untill proven guilty. Have compassion for all parties,no matter who the guilty party really is.

Let me guess. I'm sure that the PTSD excuse will fly again for this "hero". What nonsense.

I wonder if alcohol had anything to do with it? ☺
