Airports in Eastern Carolina and our state are dealing with heavy amount of snow Saturday morning.
Click the photos tab to see the scene at Pitt-Greenville Airport Saturday morning as crews worked to keep the runway clear and the first US Airways flight was de-iced.
Jerry Vickers, the airport's executive director, says the runway is open, and the airport expected to run a normal flight schedule Saturday.
Albert J. Ellis Airport has been plowed and is open and the airlines are also operating. Some flights have been delayed and cancelled. Passengers should contact their airline or visit their website before making their way to the airport.
